CoolSculpting The new, non-invasive fat reduction technique that delivers precise cooling technology to gently and effectively reduce fat in problem areas of the body!

The Procedure- By placing the unwanted bulge between two cooling plates, The CoolSculpting procedure eliminates fat cells in specific problem areas. Though patients may experience a sensation of intense cold for the first few minutes, the procedure is comfortable and requires no anesthesia! Treatment of each area takes an hour, during which time you can relax, read, or work! There is no downtime after the procedure and normal activities, including exercise, can be resumed immediately.  Occasionally, there may be some minor bruising, redness, tingling, or numbness in the the treated area, which is temporary.  Dr. Hirmand recommends good nutrition and an exercise regimen during the month following the Procedure.

The Results- In properly selected individuals, a decrease in fat can start as early as three weeks. Considerable fat reduction is visible in about two months after the procedure.  The results are permanent as long as the weight is stable.

 Best Candidates- Individuals who have localized problem areas like love handles or a belly bulge will benefit most from the procedure. The ideal candidate has modest problem areas that won't go away despite good nutrition and exercise.  CoolSculpting is not a weight reduction method and is not appropriate for obese or significantly overweight individuals-- it is not a substitute for more invasive procedures like liposuction.

Xeomin

Xeomin is the newest botulinum toxin (similar to Botox and Dysport) approved for clinical use, as a muscle depressing agent to improve fine lines and wrinkles.  It starts working as quickly as 1-2 days after treatment, with results typically lasting 4 months (although results have been to last longer).  Worldwide, more than 84,000 people have been treated with Xeomin injections, and is readily utilized in over 20 countries today. 

We are excited to announce the launch of Xeomin within our practice, and to make Xeomin treatments a viable option for our patients.

SculptraAesthetic

It works deep in the skin to replace lost collagen gradually over several months by stimulating its production. It is made from poly-L-lactic acid, which has been safely used for the past 25 years in absorbable stitches. It is biocompatible and biodegradable. 

Typically 3 sessions are recommended over 3-4 months. The results can last up to 2 years. The gradual and natural filling effect can be used effectively with other injectables.

Sculptra had been approved and in use in the US for several years for medical facial atrophy prior to its approval for aesthetic indications. It has also been widely used in Europe for close to ten years for cosmetic treatments.

BodyTite Minimally Invasive Liposuction- Under FDA protocol*

Dr. Hirmand is an investigator, under the FDA protocol, for the first RFAL (Radio Frequency Assisted Liposuction) assisted liposuction and simultaneous skin tightening- BodyTite. 

This procedure strives to offer bodyshaping that is superior in safety, uniformity and speed compared to laser assisted liposuction while simultaneously providing the additional benefit of tightening of skin and less bruising and pain.

Hand Rejuvenation with Radiesse
